The winter does not agree with me, and why should it? I am an Island Girl and where the sun shines is where I ought to be. It's only January and I'm already counting down for spring. VINTAGE DIARY

There is something very regal about women of 1940's and 50's. The style was feminine and sharp. Ladies wore sculptured dresses with corseted waist, full skirts and gloves up to their elbows, silk blouses teamed with pencil skirts,and the birth of cat-eyed-glases. This era was clean and classic. Icons bloomed, Think Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly or Sophia Loren. This is one of my favourite era's enjoy x
