ALTUZARRA

❝ALTUZARRA WAS BORN OUT OF THE DESIRE TO PROVIDE A CONTEMPORARY AND PRACTICAL WARDROBE FOR THE MODERN PROFESSIONAL WOMAN❞. J.Altuzarra

Paris-born, New York based designer Joseph Altuzarra is in demand; with the most wanted parker jacket of the season, his collection emerged with a fresh aesthetic as tough pieces contrasted with floaty silk dresses and and knit's in the classic argyle print maintaining the euphoria of the brand identity.

POLKA DOTS

I always associate polka dots with my gran; I remember this one significant pic of her in 1986 wearing a polka-dot dress and red kitten heels, complimented with red lipstick. Skip almost a decade later and polka dots are one of the biggest trends this season, seen in Marc Jacobs, DVF and Stella McCartney; I love the modern interpretations of such a classic print. I’m especially fond of Stella McCartney's creation of playing with different fabrics and revising dots in a sensual and feminine way.

Grace Kelly [1954] REAR WINDOW

Michelle Pfeiffer [1983] SCARFACE

Faye Dunaway [1967] BONNIE & CLYDE

Sarah-Jessica Parker [2008] SEX & THE CITY

Its Friday night and the week-end has finally begun; POPCORN, HAAGEN-DAZS and OLD FILMS.
I love the natural grace the 1950s & 60's where sirens like Grace Kelly, Dorothy Dandridge, Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe dazzled in vintage pieces that are beautifully timeless.
